Ajmal Kasab Hanged today morning at Yerwada Jail, Pune The execution was kept secret from Media Kasab was in Jail since 2008 Mercy plea rejected by Pranab Mukherjee Ajmal Kasab, convicted of killing scores of people in the Mumbai terror attack 26/11 was hanged to death today at Pune’s Yerwada Jail. The execution was done at 7:30AM, as confirmed by the Home Ministry of Maharashtra. The order of execution came after Pranab Mukherjee rejected the mercy plea by the Pakistani terrorist.  Kasab was moved to Yerwada Jail few days ago from Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail. According to IBN Live, when Kasab was asked for his any last wish or will, he said “No”.  His family will be informed about his execution.  Kasab, along with 10 other assailants attacked Mumbai, the commercial capital of India on 26th Nov, 2008 and killed more than 150 people including many foreign tourists.
