The Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Committee has said the updated flight schedule for alternative arrangements shall be communicated promptly through official channels
May 10, 2025 - In view of the continuing military escalation between India and Pakistan, the Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Committee has said that all scheduled Hajj flights from Indian-administered Kashmir will be suspended till May 14.
The official notification read, "Pilgrims are advised to remain patient and await further instructions."
According to the authorities, the pilgrims will be informed of any changes to the schedule or other arrangements.
"In continuation to this office notification dated: 09-05-2025, it is to inform that in view of the prevailing situation all Chartered Hajj Flights which were scheduled up to 14-05-2025 stand cancelled," reads a notification from the Hajj Committee. "The updated flight schedule for alternative arrangements shall be communicated promptly through official channels."
Saudi Arabia will host the annual Hajj pilgrimage from June 4 to June 9.
