Udaipur, March 6, 2025 - The executive committee meeting of the Maharana Pratap Khelgaon Society was held on Wednesday, March 5,2025, evening at the Khelgaon campus under the chairmanship of District Collector Namit Mehta. Several projects for sports facilities were approved in the meeting.

Approval For Several Projects

A budget of Rs 6 crore was approved for the complete repair and shed construction of the 50-meter international-level swimming pool. The Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) was appointed as the executing agency for this work. Instructions were given to UDA engineers to construct a 50-meter shooting range as per international standards.

Development of Tennis and Cricket Facilities

The meeting discussed the construction of two new clay tennis courts. Several improvements for the cricket ground, including a roller, grass-cutting machine, side screen, toilet block, and pavilion, were also approved.

New machines and floor mats will be purchased for the gym. Approval was also given for the expansion of the cricket practice area.

CCTV cameras will be installed at the entry and exit points of all sports fields. Necessary sports equipment, furniture, and a computer set for the society office will also be purchased.

Instructions were issued to complete the remaining work of the multipurpose indoor stadium on a risk-and-cost basis. The construction of the athletic track will also be finished soon.
