Kanhaiya Lal Devpura, father of the National Vice President of BJP and MLA,  Rajsamand, Kiran Maheshvari passed away today morning at around 5 am.

His Funeral procession started from Kiran’s house situated at Ambamanta at around 4 pm and ended at Shamshan Ghat  (Rani Road).

Kanhaiya Lal Devpura ,86, was very active in the social and cultural programs of Gayatri Family since a long time. He had also earlier played a very active role with the Bidla Group in Kolkata and Mumbai. After his retirement Devpura was staying in Udaipur since 1982 with his daughter Kiran. Anil further informed that Devpura had also served as the Vice President of Maheshwari Panchayat in past years. As the Vice President, he put in his efforts to spread the message to live the life with simplicity and to eradicate evil from the society.
