Kshatriya Mahasabha Demands 50% reservation in Army
50% reservation in Indian Army for individuals of Kshatriya community has been demanded by Haribansh Singh, President of Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Mahasabha. He is on Udaipur visit for the invigilation of monuments of Pratap.
While speaking to the local media, he added, “It is historically proven that how Kshatriya soldiers have fought for the country from time-to-time. The youth of Kshatriya community always deserves to be in Indian Army.”

Speaking about the maintenance of Pratap monuments, he said, “The administration is careless in terms of keeping the usual maintenance of Pratap monuments. Maharana Pratap Smarak is a place where people come to have a glimpse of Pratap, but what they actually see is an unmaintained situation.”
Haribansh Singh also demanded to install a statue of Chetak Horse at Chetak Memorial, Haldighati. Chetak was the loyal horse of Maharana Pratap who gave his life to save his master in the Battle of Haldighati. He said, “We have a meeting of National Working Committee on 6th May, 2012 in Bareli and will send a proposal to the government regarding the same. If government can’t do this, we will do it on our own.”
Ragvendra Singh, General Secretary, Mahasabha said, “After the success of initiating Co-operative movement in other parts of India, we would be introducing the same in Rajasthan soon. This will further give financial help from co-operative department to start their own small business.”
Jaalam Singh Daantad, Regional President of the Mahasabha said, “Parents should consider spending more on female education. They should focus on giving an educated daughter in marriage, instead of dowry.”
Gopal Kunwar Bhairavi and Dr. Jaysingh Jodha took charge to the positions of Regional President and Regional Leader respectively. “They will adopt and spread our morals and motives to rural areas,” says Haribansh Singh.
