Laboratory Technicians affiliated to All Rajasthan Laboratory Technician Workers Association demonstrated today in front of the collectorate and submitted a memorandum to the collector stating all their demands.

Among their various demands, Lab Technicians stated the results of S.K. Mohanpuria report and demanded changes in the salary structure to make it equivalent to that of the central government employees’. They also requested the changes in grades and demanded experience based promotion, allowances other benefits.

Technicians demanded generation of more jobs in blood banks, hospitals and laboratories as per laws of Indian Medical Council and Drug and Cosmetic Act.

They also requested to fix the timings for technician jobs in urban and rural areas in hospitals and blood banks. Also, requested that the technicians working in the emergency ward should be provided residential facility.
