Lady patrol team of Udaipur has shown that they are as alert as required. The team nabbed a few people on Monday at Lake Pichola for polluting the lake.

The lady patrol team was on a round on Monday when they spotted an auto full of clothes for washing at lakeside. They found that clothes and auto were being washed at the lake which in turn was polluting the water. The team took immediate action and seized the auto.

The auto owner was penalised with 1000 rupees and warned not to repeat the act. He was made aware of the importance of lakes. After this, the lady patrol team went round the city on anti-polythene campaign. They collected around 48 kilos of plastic bags from various established firms from Surajpole, Udiapole, Goverdhan Vilas, Syphen, Kharol colony, Devali and Clock tower. 14000 rupees were collected as fine from these firms.
