Dr. Lakshyaraj extended an invitation to Prime Minister Modi to visit the City Palace at Udaipur
Udaipur, Feb 04, 2026: Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, along with his family, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday.
During the meeting, which lasted for more than half an hour at the Parliament House, Prime Minister Modi and Dr. Lakshyaraj, member of the former royal family of Udaipur, discussed the glorious history of Mewar — from its founding father Bappa Rawal to great warriors like Maharana Sanga and Maharana Pratap. Their patriotism and ideal life values were described as India’s priceless heritage and a guiding source of inspiration for the nation.
Dr. Lakshyaraj also extended an invitation to Prime Minister Modi to visit the City Palace at Udaipur, to which the Prime Minister responded warmly, expressing affection and goodwill towards Dr. Mewar.
Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh also conveyed his best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India’s new global identity as a progressive and empowered nation under his leadership.
Present on the occasion were Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar’s father-in-law Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha and Maharaja of the Patna-Balangir princely state; his mother-in-law Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo, a five-time BJP Member of Parliament; Dr. Mewar’s wife Nivritti Kumari Mewar; son Haritraj Singh Mewar; and daughters Mohlakshika Kumari Mewar and Praneshwari Kumari Mewar.
