In an auction of commercial and residential plots held at UIT Udaipur, approximately Rs. 1.44 Crore was received from successful bidders for 4 residential plots at Hiran Magri.

Today on 30^th April 2012, six residential plots with a minimum bid rate of Rs. 1,500 per sq. feet and five commercial plots with a minimum bid rate of Rs. 5,000 per sq. feet were marked to be auctioned.  However, only 4 residential plots came under the hammer successfully, due to absence of technical clarity.

Sources informed that the plots are located at Hiran Magri Sector 14.  Plot No. 242 received the highest bid of Rs. 1,633 per sq. feet.  Plot no. 138 in Block I was sold at Rs. 1,611 per sq. feet; Plot No. 43 in Block F  was sold at a rate Rs. 1,621 per sq. feet and Plot No. 138 in Block G went under the hammer at Rs. 1,605 per sq feet.

Among the five commercial plots, three were in Hiran Magri Sector 9 and the rest were in Transport Nagar, Block A.  The plots in Transport Nagar were given minimum bid value of Rs. 2,000 per sq. feet.  Residential plots in Block D, Sector 9 were also left out due to technical reasons.

According to B.P Sharma, Accounts Officer, UIT the auction process started around 11.30 in the morning in the presence of around 25 local bidders.
