Largest Flag made on Milad-un-Nabi Festival
On the occasion of Islamic festival of Milad-un Nabi (Birthday of Prophet Muhammad), a Muslim devotee from Udaipur’s Alipura area has made a gigantic flag printed ‘Muhammad’ in Arabic script.

The flag maker Sayeed Ashiq Ali, is a resident of Ali Pura and has been making this flag from past twelve days, Satin cloth is used in preparation of the flag, height of which is 21 feet wide and 26 feet in length, while total surface area is 502 Sq feet, fully prepared flag will be taken out in a mass procession on 25th January.
In traditional events on Milad-un-Nabi, a mass procession is taken out by the Muslims, while some hold community feast in their respective colonies on the day, on the eve before the day various events are organized.
Preparations of the festival, with utmost importance in Islam, starts soon after first moon of Islamic calendar appears, mosques are lavishly decorated with bright lights and ‘Mehfils’ are organized.
In the same sequence, yesterday Intezamia Committee Jalal Shah Baba had organized a special program at Town Hall Campus, in which Hazrat Shaikh Syed Sabahuddin Ahmad Ibrahim Al-Qadri from Baghdad, Iraq and Deewan Hazrat Syed Zain-ul-Abideen Ali Khan Sahab from Ajmer Sharif, collectively preached sayings of Prophet Mohammad and his life span.
