Tata Power announced on Monday, June 26, 2023, that it will be establishing electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities at multiple locations of Le Roi Hotels and Resorts throughout India. The sites for these installations encompass Udaipur, Digha, Haridwar, Jammu, Tehri, Raipur, Corbett, and Koti. Tata Power, in a press release, stated that it has joined forces with Le Roi Hotels and Resorts to deploy EV charging points at multiple of their hotel sites nationwide. This joint initiative aims to foster eco-friendly transportation and augment the environmental sustainability of tourism spots.

Tata Power will set up a total of 16 charging units, distributed evenly across the eight locations. This includes an equal split of eight rapid DC (CCS-II) chargers and eight AC (Type II) chargers, thereby providing a broad spectrum of charging options for electric vehicle owners.

"We aim to empower both residents and travellers to wholeheartedly embrace electric mobility with utmost confidence, creating a seamless and convenient experience for all," Virendra Goyal, Head of Business Development (EV Charging) at Tata Power, said.
