Udaipur-Ajmer rail route has 39 stations in between which will now be equipped with LED lights. These energy efficient LED lights are a good move since these will save around 60 lakh rupees of rail management.

Platforms of North Western railway zone between Ajmer and Udaipur, waiting rooms at the stations, offices and workshops will bathe in LED lights. All old installations will be removed. As per DRM Punit Chawla, a 5 year contract has been signed with EESL. As per the contract, LED lights will be installed at all 144 buildings, railway colonies and running rooms at 39 railway stations falling on Udaipur-Ajmer rail route.
