Legacy of Mewar to adorn Metro Stations of New Delhi
Preserving the heritage of Mewar, 2 metro stations in New Delhi will display the photographs of the rulers of the last 3 generations. Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation's Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar inaugurated the exhibition.
Preserving the heritage of Mewar, 2 metro stations in New Delhi will display the photographs of the rulers of the last 3 generations. Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation’s Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar inaugurated the exhibition.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and India Habitat Center’s collaborative effort is to raise culture and art of living legacy in India under which this exhibition will be put up.
20 selected portraits of Maharajas depicting their royalty will be put to display at Jor Bagh Metro Station and Mandi House metro station for 3 months.
IHC’s Director Rakesh Kakad said that the IHC’s members had visited the City Palace Museum and the book based on this exhibition was also inaugurated at the India Habitat Center.
