Udaipur, February 10, 2025 - Incidents of leopards being spotted in the areas surrounding the city have become quite common these days. Last night, a speeding motorcyclist collided with a leopard which suddenly jumped onto the road unexpectedly near the Mewar Banquet Hall at Shilpgram attempting to cross over to the other side. Since it was dark on the road, neither the biker, who was a milkman, nor the animal noticed each other.

Following the collision, the biker landed a few meters away from the leopard which, too, appeared injured in the collision. After a few minutes, it got up and limped away into the night. 

Fortunately for the biker, the injured leopard did not attack him as he lay on the ground, stunned from the fall.

Meanwhile, the loud sound of the accident attracted some passersby who rushed to help. However, when they saw the leopard, they grew cautious and maintained their distance. They approached the injured man only when the leopard had gone.
