Park has been closed to the public since October 23; search teams increased but no luck
Udaipur, October 25, 2024 - The leopard that escaped from the Sajjangarh Biological Park on October 22 is still missing. Intensive combing operations are on and search teams are wearing body protector suits and searching in bushes. The entire area has been divided into three zones and around 50-60 personnel, including three shooters, are engaged in the search operations. Sand and POP have been spread around to catch the pug mark of the leopard. Other wildlife, like rabbits, have been spotted in the photo trap cameras, but there is still no sign of the missing animal.
The Bio Park has been closed to the public since the leopard went missing and is not expected to reopen until the search operation is complete.
