A liquor salesman was robbed by 2 bikers late Thursday night. As reported by Mahendra Singh, he was on his way back home with cash of that night’s sale.

Mahendra Singh is a salesman with a liquor store at Bhuwana. He was returning home around 11 p.m. with cash amounting to 1 lakh 60 thousand rupees which was that night’s collection. He reached near Balaji Dairy in Sector 9 when he was stopped by 2 men on a bike. They pushed Mahendra from his bike as a result of which he fell down. One of the men pulled out a knife and tried to snatch the money bag from him. Mahendra shouted for help but there was no one on the road to listen to his cries. The biker cut off the straps of the bag with his knife and took the bag from him. As per Mahendra Singh, the bag also contained his wallet, mobile and cheque books. By the time police reached, the robbers had fled from the site.
