Police seized liquor from a vehicle at Delhi Gate on Wednesday night. There were 4 people in the vehicle who managed to escape.  

It was around 2:30 a.m. when police stopped an Innova registered in Gujarat at Delhi Gate. The Innova had 460 bottles of liquor which were seized by police but the passengers of Innvoa somehow managed to escape. Police followed them to a distance but could not arrest them.

White Innova GJ-01-AH-2469 was heading towards Delhi Gate from Hathipole. There were 4 passengers including the driver. When police signalled the vehicle to stop, the driver suddenly took the vehicle in reverse mode and sped towards Ashwini Bazar. When police followed them, they left the vehicle near Hathipole sabji mandi and ran away from the place. Police has seized the liquor and the vehicle.
