A man is injured seriously after being knocked down by speeding vehicle at University Road today in the morning at about 8 am.

Bhagwanlal Salvi (53) a resident of Adarsh Nagar E-Block is still unconscious at MB Hospital’s neurology ward for severe head injuries. His condition is worrisome.

According to the sources, at around 8 am in the morning, when Bhagwanlal was on his way for some work at University Road he was banged from back by a loading vehicle. He was on a two wheeler at the time of the accident. The sudden crash riddled Bhagwanlal who fell on ground that resulted in serious head injury and he became unconscious immediately. The tempo driver fled away leaving his vehicle numbered RJ 27- GA-9608 on the spot. People from nearby shops rushed to rescue the 54 year old employee of Tehsil (Gogunda). Bhagwan Lal was first taken to a private hospital where doctors suggested taking him to M.B Hospital. Bhagwanlal is admitted in neurology ward for internal head injury and his condition is still serious.
