A lone house in Bedla area was robbed by thieves on Friday. As reported by owner Chetan Suhalka, he was away for a birthday party with family in Fatehnagar. He left around 7 p.m. and returned past midnight. Upon his return, he saw that locks to the main gate were broken and thieves had robbed his house of all the valuables. 24,000 rupees in cash, gold and silver jewellery and some outfits that were bought for a wedding to take place in the family in November were taken away by the thieves. Police has inspected the site and search is on for the thieves.
