For the second day, there was a 2-inch flow in the Nandeswar channel. Meanwhile, the water level of the Madri dam, which has a capacity of 34 feet, is now at 1.4 feet. It has increased by 2 inches in the past 24 hours.
Continuous scattered rains over the past three days have provided relief from the heat and humidity. In the last 24 hours, the daytime temperature has dropped by 2.7 degrees and the nighttime temperature by 0.5 degrees.
According to the meteorological department, the city's maximum temperature was recorded at 27.2 degrees and the minimum at 22.5 degrees. A day earlier, these were 29.9 and 23.0 degrees, respectively.
