Udaipur bar association and Mewar-Wagad High Court Bench Sangarsh Samiti is privileged to get more and more support from public groups and also most of the elite of Udaipur.

Recently, Maharana Mahendra Singh Mewar has also supported the cause and showed his consent to join the protest starting from 12^th Aug.

According to the sources, the movement to bring high court bench in Udaipur will be stronger than before as social, religious and other various groups have come forward to support the advocates.

Bharat Joshi, President of the Bar Association has said that there are number of valid reasons to show why high court bench is necessary in Udaipur. Joshi said,”In cases related to no construction zone, lake conservation and other related issues; people have nowhere to put forward their consent.”

Secondly, 56 percent of the total tribal population of Rajasthan is residing in Mewar-Wagad region and most of them are poverty-stricken and living far from the mainstream.

Justice has been denied to these people for a long time just because the region has no high court bench.
