A man has been arrested for duping through OLX-an online buying and selling website. Hiranmagri police arrested Rahul Lohiya from Saket in Delhi. Rahul duped a man from Udaipur posting an advertisement for selling dumpers on OLX.

As reported by Hitesh Sharma of Titardi, he came across an advertisement at OLX regarding the sale of dumpers 4 years back. He contacted the concerned person on the number given in the advertisement. Rahul, the seller, asked Hitesh to reach Gurugram. Hitesh went to Gurugram with his brother and friend. They were shown 3 dumpers by Rahul and his uncle. The deal was then finalised in 21, 91, 000 rupees. They paid 20 lakhs to Rahul in 3 instalments but a long time passed and the dumpers were not sent to them. Hitesh asked for a refund but Rahul kept on misleading him. A case was then registered with Hiranmagri police and police teams went to Gurugram and arrested Rahul. He was presented before the court. He is now in police remand and is being interrogated about the amount.
