A man from Khanjipeer area has been arrested by police for kidnapping and raping a 15 year old girl. As per reports, Shekhar Adiwal resident of Goverdhan Vilas was arrested on Friday by Surajpole police. He is on a 3-day police remand.

The girl informed police that Shekhar was threatening her that if she did not meet him he would kill her parents. He rang her up on 20^th October and asked her to meet him. When she refused to meet, he threatened her. The scared girl went to meet him at the decided place, from where he forced her to go to his house with him on his two-wheeler. After reaching home, he first bashed her up and then took her to a hotel in Sector 14, Hiranmagri. There he again beat her up and also raped her.

Based on the girl’s statements, police took action and arrested the molester.
