2^nd October Gandhi Jayanti is observed as dry-day under which selling of liquor is strictly prohibited. A man was arrested for breaking this rule.

As per reports, Lavish Lal was arrested for selling liquor in a restaurant on Sukher road. Police recovered 243 bottles of liquor in Jogmaya restaurant on the night of 2^nd October. Action will be taken against the restaurant owner for supplying liquor to customers on dry-day against rules.
