A man drowned in Swaroop Sagar on 11^th August. As per reports, Durga Shankar left from home on Saturday 11^th August. Before leaving from home he informed his family members that he was going to visit the temple. When he did not return until evening, family members started searching for him but did not find him anywhere.

On Sunday, a body was found in Swaroop Sagar. Hathipole police had the body sent to mortuary and started investigating the case. Durga Shankar’s family reached the mortuary and identified his body. Sources revealed that he was a man of spiritual nature and used to visit temples and holy shrines regularly. He was basically a very quiet man. It is being assumed that he went towards Swaroop Sagar for a stroll and accidentally fell into the water. He probably suffered head injury which took his life.
