A man has been arrested for cheating people in the name of government schemes. Kamlesh Suthar has been arrested from Savina in this matter. He used to pose as a member of NGO and duped people in the name of various schemes promoted by government.

Pankaj Gussar resident of Sector 9 reported that a man named Sanjay, which was actually a fake name, contacted him and gave details of schemes under “Save girl child” project. He asked for some money for which the deadline was Thursday. Sanjay posed to be a broker and said that he was also connected with some news publishing company. Pankaj trusted this man and gave him 5 thousand rupees. Later he learnt that many people were cheated by this man in various ways.

Police arrested this impostor from Savina and upon interrogation he revealed his real name as Kamlesh Suthar. Kamlesh confessed having extracted money from people on the name of government jobs and government schemes. He also managed to escape with a two-wheeler from a showroom in Salumber pretending to take trials of the vehicle. Kamlesh has duped more than 2 dozen people in Udaipur and neighbouring regions.
