A man was found hanging by the noose in a hotel room in Hathipole area. As per reports, Deva Gameti was found hanging on Friday morning in Mewar Darshan Hotel.

Deva’s brother Heera informed that Deva was not in a good mental state since past 15-20 days. The hotel manager said that Deva was brought to the hotel by the owner who said that Deva would stay back in the hotel for that night. There were two other staff members who slept on the floor with Deva.

Next morning, Heera went to the hotel and enquired about him. When they did not find Deva they searched for him and found him hanging by an electrical wire tied on the pipe in the area between the kitchen and the water tank. Prima facie it seems to be a case of suicide. Police is now investigating the case.
