Prakash Chandra Shrimali has been elected as President (Pradhan) of Nagar Arya Samaj, a not- to-profit social body attached to the Arya Samaj Movement, in the elections held on 9^th April 2012.

Of various programs and activities conducted by the group, Prakash Chandra Shrimali will hold the responsibilities of managing religious programs including organizing of Yagya and other religious customs.

The election was held for various positions including President, Vice President, Leader, Treasurer, Librarian, Media head and book sale.

While Shrimali has been elected as the President, Lajpat Singh and Manorma Gupta were elected as Vice President and Sureshchandra Chouhan has been chosen as the Leader (mantri) of the Nagar Arya Samaj.

In an exclusive interview to UT, Prakashchandra Shrimali informed that the group, with its base at Picholi and a 100 member strength, has been actively participating in many social works for the welfare of women, education etc.
