Sept 11, 2025 - The shooter who fatally shot at Charlie Kirk yesterday, September 10, at Utah Valley University is still at large and a large manhunt is underway to trace him. As per reports, the FBI in Salt Lake City has just released photos of who they called a “person of interest” in the shooting yesterday in the hope the public will help in identifying the individual.

Readers may recall that the 31-year-old Kirk, an ally of US President Donald Trump and prominent conservative political activist, was tragically shot in the neck by a yet-unidentified person during a presentation on the campus of the Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He was rushed to hospital but unfortunately, could not be saved. The event was attended by nearly 3,000 people, say university sources.

Kirk was the executive director of Turning Point USA (TPUSA).

Authorities have recovered a “high-powered bolt action rifle” from a wooded area. Cops suspect this weapon was used to shoot Kirk. It is believed to be a “targeted attack” with officials saying the suspect “appears to be of college age”.

Meanwhile, President Trump has announced he will posthumously award Kirk a Presidential Medal of Freedom during a ceremony at the Pentagon to mark the 24th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
