Many Names of Archit Verdia, students made special photo frame
A group of students have prepared a photo frame engraved with Lieutenant Archit Verdia’s photo and presented it to the late Lieutenant’s mother Beena Verdia. The photo frame is exclusive in that; each alphabet comprising the name “Archit Verdia” has been given an implicative meaning. The name imprinted in the frame is in devanagri script.

Rohit Bansal, Jitendra Verma, Yantesh Gupta, Rahul Singhal, Ravi Kumavat and Pradhyuman Singh, all students pursuing graduation from B.N College and M.B College of Udaipur, decided to give condolence to Lt. Archit, who died in Siachen on July 20, 2011 while saving his colleagues from the fire that their bunker caught.
“Everybody was doing something or other to pay tribute to Archit, so we thought doing something different. We took each alphabet in Archit’s name and then attributed each alphabet with words that would match the power, heroism and patriotism Archit Verdia, the brave son of Udaipur had”-said Jitendra Verma, student of M.B College.
There are eleven Hindi characters in Archit Verdia’s name and each character was attributed with 11different words like huge like sky, bright like sun, appealing, sparkling like gold, guard of motherland, inspiration for coming generation etc.
The group of these young guys handed the photo frame to Archit’s mother and the heartrending mother who lost her son in such a young age, had nothing to say except, expressing her thankfulness.
Jitendra and his friends said- “this present is not only from us, but ,this is from everyone who loves Archit Verdia, they added ,even if the God has taken one Archit, there are hundreds and thousands more, eager to die for the motherland.”
