District Collector Arvind Poswal reviews the multiple events planned in Udaipur on the completion of one year of government tenure
Udaipur, December 5, 2024 - A review meeting of the preparations for the proposed programmes on the completion of one year of the State Government's term was held yesterday in the mini hall of the Collectorate. The meeting was chaired by Udaipur District Collector Arvind Poswal.
The Collector instructed all district officials to give priority to the government's anniversary programmes. He took updates from the concerned nodal departments regarding the preparations. Poswal informed that on December 9, as part of the State-level Rising Rajasthan Summit, a district-level programme would also be held.
On December 12, the Run for Developed Rajasthan marathon will take place at Fatehsagar Pal in the morning.
A district-level employment festival will be organised at the Municipal Corporation, in the presence of the in-charge Minister Hemant Meena. The State-level event will be broadcast live and locally selected Government employees will be felicitated. A district development booklet will be released, and a district-level exhibition will be inaugurated.
The programme schedule includes a district-level farmer conference on December 13 and a district-level Antyodaya Service Camp on December 15. On December 17, district and panchayat-level events will be held in line with the State-level main event in Jaipur.
The Collector also said that on December 14, a State-level women’s conference is proposed at Gandhi Ground in Udaipur, in the presence of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. This will include distribution of scooters to girls, scholarships to 32,000 college students, launch of a women's helpline app to provide police assistance in emergencies, distribution of 10,000 electric cooking systems, and inauguration of the RSRTC security command centre and panic button project.
