Mass Protest Against Petrol Price Hike

In a mass protest against the skyrocketing petrol prices, Bhartiya Janta Party Mahila Morcha and Communist Party of India (CPI) members and their supporters gathered in front of the Udaipur Collectorate and burned down an effigy of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as well as the Congress banner.

In a mass protest against the skyrocketing petrol prices, Bhartiya Janta Party Mahila Morcha and Communist Party of India (CPI) members and their supporters gathered in front of the Udaipur Collectorate and burned down an effigy of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as well as the Congress banner.

The Central Labor Organization also protested against the Petrol Price Hike by releasing a memorandum against the U.P.A. Government.

The BJP Mahila Morcha Lead, by Rajni Dangi, Chairperson of the Udaipur Municipal Council also signed a memorandum against the policies of the Union government. According to them, the current U.P.A. government was chosen 3 years ago by the country with the false delusion that it would work for the public welfare and keep the cost of basic human needs like food and fuel in check, a pledge that they have not kept.

The protest, led by the BJP Mahila Morcha, also included Kiran Jain, Hansa Mali, Vijaylakshmi Kumawat, Anita Goswami and Rakhi Mali.

Mass Protest Against Petrol Price Hike

Meghraj Tanwar, District Secretary, CPI said that all the major representatives of the Communist Party from the entire country will be coming to Jaipur on the 27th May to lead a mass protest against the petrol price hike and the policies implemented by the centre.

In the last three years of the second session rule of the U.P.A government, the petrol prices have been hiked for the 16th time.

A Bharat Band will also take place on the 31st of May stating an all India protest against the Petrol Price Hike and the rise in cost of living of the common man.
