In the fourth edition of ‘Khas Mulakat’ organised at Lake City Press Club, Mayor Rajni Dangi interacted on various points related to Udaipur. In her conversation with local media Mayor expressed issue of lack of staff with UMC.

Today, in this interaction Rajni Dangi stressed that UMC is suffering from staff deficiency, due to which Corporation fails to complete time bounded results in various projects.

According to Rajni Dangi, Corporation is responsible for maintenance of cleanliness and beautification of areas falling under their work field. In work session of three and a half years UMC has undertaken large number of projects, including beautification of circles and construction of parking spaces in congested parts of the city.

In the list of upcoming projects UMC is developing small gardens at Fatehsagar along with a Shaheed Smarak in UMC compound. In addition to this, resuming City Bus Service is to be implemented soon. Installing idols of Public Figures is also in the pipeline projects although few of them are already established, added Dangi.

On the issue of city buses, Mayor further informed that first phase of the service would be starting soon on two routes and later if we get good response, Municipal Corporation might take responsibility of the the whole operation.

While speaking on No Construction Zone, Mayor informed that in her recent visit with top authorities at Jaipur, she spoke about the problem being faced by the masses. Hopefully a positive outcome could be seen in coming months to ease the sufferings of locals residing near lake sides.
