With a view of expediting the land regularization cases (“patta”), Mayor of Udaipur Municipal Corporation, Rajni Dangi today sat with respective executives in their departments and started signing off on the files.

This land regularization is required under the State Grant Act. It may be recalled that UMC had earlier conducted the “Prashan Shehron ke Sangh” campaign in 3 phases where in issues like regularization of Kacchi Bastis, colonies coming under acquitted land, colonies established on agricultural lands, issuing of birth/ death certificates etc were taken up.

The current exercise by the Mayor is to clear the files of people who were left out during the campaign.
