Surajpol will soon experience another face lift when the historical Tanga Stand at the oldest chauraha in Udaipur is replaced with a multi level Mechanical Car Park.

Under the Rs 6 Crore is being undertaken by the Udaipur Smart City, this mechanical car park will be able to host a multi level parking of upto 86 vehicles. As per sources, the mechanical car parking will enhance tourism in the region, due to traffic congestion and the inability to find a proper parking. This parking will complement the existing vehicle parking unit outside the Nagar Nigam premises less than 500 meters from the tanga stand.
