Amid the growing number of patients due to seasonal diseases, the Medical Department is on alert to ensure timely ambulance services. Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Shankarlal Bamniya conducted a surprise inspection of three ambulances on Tuesday, October 1,2024 to check the status of 108 ambulance services.

During the inspection, a checklist provided by the Directorate was followed, and details of the facilities were uploaded online through the ODK app, which will send the data directly to the Directorate. Dr. Bamniya also instructed the ambulance staff to fix any shortcomings found during the inspection.

Although this activity was done as per the Directorate's instructions, CMHO Dr. Bamnia mentioned that the department regularly conducts such inspections and sends reports to the state government.
