Menaria Community Demands Justice for Murdered Taxi Driver's Family

A large number of crowds representing the Menaria community assembled in front of the Collector’s office to express their concern over the murder of Sohanlal Menaria, a taxi owner and resident of Vallabh Nagar who was allegedly shot and killed by a few unknown people on Friday 3rd June 2012 at Raila, Bhilwara.

A large number of crowds representing the Menaria community assembled in front of the Collector’s office to express their concern over the murder of Sohanlal Menaria, a taxi owner and resident of Vallabh Nagar who was allegedly shot and killed by a few unknown people on Friday 3rd June 2012 at Raila, Bhilwara.

Amid heavy police force, the agitated people have demanded immediate result and arrest of the culprits and compensation of Rs.10 Lac to the victim’s family members.

Khubilal Menaria, President of the Menaria Brahmin Samaj told media that “this coldblooded murder has saddened our community and society; we appeal to the administration to solve this case with priority and the wrongdoers be punished.”

According to Khubilal Menaria, Ten Thousand people gathered today afternoon at the Collector’s office and handed over a memorandum in the name of the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

“We are ready to cooperate with the administration, but at the same time we also warn to begin a mass protest if the victim’s family members will not get justice on time”, said Menaria.

Sohanlal Menaria is survived by his wife and five children. The police have already arrested one suspect from Nasirabad.
