A mentally challenged woman was taken to Asha Dham by Vishwa Shanku Seva Sansthan (VSSS), a women helpline service. The Asha Dham Asharam, located at Sajjan Nagar, Udaipur is a home for the destitute and takes care of the sick, old and completely helpless people.

VSSS received information about this woman by a phone call from Miradatar Region. When enquired in the area the women’s helpline found that this woman has been moving around in the area from last 4-5 months and was surviving on whatever food was given by residents.

Besides taking care of this woman, the helpline will also arrange for her psychiatric treatment. On this occasion, Sunita Sharma, Founder VSSS, Jyoti Saini and other members were present.
