Mentally disturbed woman who gave birth to a child at Court Chouraha was a source of obvious concern on Saturday 23^rd September. The family members of this woman have finally been traced.

The woman suffered several painful moments before giving birth to a child on the road. Ambulance 108 was called and the woman was rushed to hospital. Harish Paliwal of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) said that the woman’s family members have been traced with the assistance of Child Line within 12 hours.

CWC had become extremely active when the woman revealed her name as Amba w/o Narayan resident of Bhuwana. Prior to this delivery, she has mothered two children in Chitrakoot Nagar. When the search operation was on, Amba’s brother was found in Chitrakoot Nagar who was taken to the hospital to meet Amba.

 It has also been reported that Amba even tried to escape from the hospital in the meantime. Amba’s child has been kept under special protection in the hospital. Both mother and child are in fair condition.
