A mentally ill person created a scene near Udiapol area yesterday when he climbed an advertisement pole and threatened to jump.

As per the crowd, the person is identified as David. He is suffering from mental illness and is usually seen in the same area. Yesterday he climbed onto one of the advertisement poles and after half an hour of struggle, the crowd finally got him down by showing Rs. 50 note.

A police hawk patrolling nearby reached the scene and took David along.
