A naked man was found in Ashok Nagar who has now been admitted to hospital. The man appears to be mentally unstable.

For the last 6 days, a man appearing to be mentally unstable was found lying naked near a drain in Ashok Nagar. He was spotted behind Sukh Sagar palace. Nobody knows who he is. His whereabouts are not known. He maintained silence when questions were directed at him.

Child Welfare Committee member BK Gupta saw this man shivering and informed Bhopalpura police station. The man was taken to the hospital by BK Gupta with the help of Vijay Prabhakar and Pradeep Kaneria.

Dr. AK Sharma, psychologist, took the mentally disturbed man under his care. The residents of the area said that they called up police station a number of times before but no one turned up. Later the situation was handled by police.

The man has dishevelled hair and a grown beard. Lack of food has made his body extremely thin and he looks like a skeleton. With eyes hiding in their sockets, this man did not have a single cloth on his body. All he owned was tattered bag containing old torn currency notes. He was feeding on filth and rotten stuff from the drain which filled his body with diseases.

His body was stinking and people were moving away because of stench. BK Gupta has appealed to the public that in case any mentally disturbed, sick person or a child is spotted, hospital should be informed at the first instance. He also said that he was pained to see this man in such a pathetic condition.
