A comparative chart of April of the last 5 years shows that the first fortnight of April 2020 is ending with more of temperatures. Heat waves are also disturbing the masses. 

Mercury has gone higher in the last few days. A rise of 2.5 degrees in the maximum temperature and 3.5 degrees in the minimum has been noted. The sun is at its high and the heat is pricking. People are now avoiding moving out during the day even for the necessary shopping. Morning hours are being preffered as the kirana stores are opened in the morning hours. The kirana stores have also made arrangements to provide shade to the public waiting in queue. 

Fans have picked up high speed and some people have also started using airconditioners (though administration had earlier requested people not to use ACs these days). 

Public is also resorting to cool drinks and making changes in their food as per the summer season. It is a matter of concern that the warriors on field i.e. the police are on vigilance in this growing heat. As per reports, arrangements are being made to provide shade to them.
