Merger of Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank with Bank of Baroda
Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank merged with BOB.
2 banks were merged with Bank of Baroda (BOB) on Monday. Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank have been merged with BOB. It may be noted that IFSC codes, existing Cheque books and Pass books will continue until further notice. The consumers of Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank will now be referred to as BOB consumers and will get the benefit of better facilities prevailing on BOB.

As informed by the General Manager of BOB, more than 9500 branches and 13500 ATMS will be available for the consumers after this merger. Since both the bank branches will operate as is, consumers can visit their existing banks for banking facilities. The merger will not close down the branches. All facilities of BOB will be provided to the consumers affected by the merger. 8 of Udaipur branches of Vijaya Bank (6) and Dena Bank (2) have been merged with BOB.
