US-Israel-Iran War LIVE Updates | Iran and US Warships Struck, 3 US Soldiers Killed
Udaipur, Mar 01, 2026: The Israel-US-Iran war plays out over the seas and air across the Middle East and the death of Ayatollah Khamenei has escalated the tensions in the region. Iran has gone all out with its response to the attack by Israel-US forces both through air and sea warfare. Iran is focussing its aggression on the US bases across the Arab peninsula and seems to be leaving no scope for respite. The US military bases in Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and UAE are being targetted by Iranian forces.
President Masoud Pezeshkian called the fatal blow on the supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei as a declaration of war against Muslims, while Hamas mourned the passing away of Ayatollah, one of the biggest and fiercest supporters of the Palestinian Islamist movement.
Interim Supreme Leader
The Iranian council has appointed senior cleric Ayatollah Alireza Arafi as the countries interim Supreme leader. This is a period of transition in Iran after the death of longtime leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Arafi, a long-time insider in the relgio-political heirarchy in Iran faces the challenge of steering the country through a preriod of heightened tensions and uncertainities.
The US CENTCOM announced that 3 US soldiers were killed in action while 5 were seriously wounded in Operation Epic Fury. Meanwhile the Iranian warship that was struck by US forces is sinking in the Guld of Oman as per reports. The Iranian IRGC meanwhile struck the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. 4 missiles were reportedly dropped on the ship. Oil has jumped by 10% and analysts say that the commodity could spike to USD 100 a barrel. As per Ajay Parmar of the ICIS, the closing of the Strait of Hormuz is playing a key part in the oil prices hike. More than 20% of global oil moves through the Strait and India is the biggest beneficiary of this oil.
