Rajasthan is bracing for yet another farmer agitation. This time the agitation has been initiated by Kisan Panchayat. As part of the agitation, a “village bandh” has been called throughout Rajasthan on 9-July.

Speaking at a press conference in Udaipur yesterday, Rampal Jat, National President, Kisan Mahapanchayat said that Government is tormenting the farmers throughout the country and hence we are seeing these kind of agitations all across. He accused the State BJP Government of going away from their election manifesto and taking measures for suppressing our agitation.

Jat said that the Kisan Panchayat has taken all measures to make the village bandh successful and that they are fully prepared.
