The minimum temperature dropped by 2.6 degrees on Sunday bringing it to 8.6 degrees. Depressions in the west have resulted in a change of weather.

The fluctuations in temperature have been witnessed a lot this season. A hide and seek between extreme cold and not so cold weather is creating a confusion with all.

Saturday was at 11.2 degrees and this sudden drop made people feel that winters are likely to stay for a fortnight. The cold waves returned with the drop and this also reduced the effect of sun. 

The day was somewhat cloudy on Saturday which cleared to some extent on Sunday. Not to forget that every year the day of Shivratri witnesses drop in temperatures and it is said that the winters start receding after the Holika dhahan.
