Udaipur, December 30, 2024 - Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has sought suggestions from the BJP MLAs of the Udaipur division regarding the upcoming State Budget. In a meeting in Jaipur yesterday, CM Sharma held a meeting with all BJP MLAs of Udaipur and asked each one to submit three proposals for development in their respective constituencies.

Udaipur City MLA Tarachand Jain has presented three proposals, which mainly included the following:

Upgrading Ayad Police Outpost: The first proposal was to upgrade the Ayad Police Outpost to a full-fledged police station to help control anti-social elements in the area.

Shifting of District and Sessions Court: The second proposal was to shift the District and Sessions Court, Udaipur, to a new location. About 80 bighas of land have been allocated in Balicha. It was suggested that a building be constructed there to shift the Court complex from its current location in Court chauraha. Currently, the District and Sessions Court is housed in an old building and located in a very busy area, where around 100 chambers exist.

Expansion of Ayad River Bridge: The third proposal involves the Ayad River Bridge on the Pratapnagar-Balicha Road, which currently has a two-lane bridge while the surrounding roads have been made into four lanes. The two-lane bridge has become a bottleneck, causing heavy traffic pressure. The proposal is to construct a four-lane bridge to ease traffic flow.

Cabinet Minister Babulal Kharadi, Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Vallabhnagar MLA Udaylal Dangi, Gogunda MLA Prataplal Bheel, Nathdwara MLA Vishwraj Singh Mewar and Salumber MLA Shanta Devi Meena were also present during this meeting.
