Udaipur to host West Zone Inter University National Youth Festival this year starting from December 23 which will last for five days.

More than 100 students from seven Indian states are expected to participate in this national level event which will comprise of cultural, sports and literary competitions.

The announcement came soon after the recently held West Zonal Vice Chancellor Seminar.

However in the recent meeting held in New Delhi other states namely Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Goa and Gujarat also placed their proposals. But out of all, Rajasthan’s Mohan Lal Sukhadia University was selected to host the festival.

According to the news quoted in a local news daily, the preparatory meeting is expected to be held soon in M.L.S.U.

Udaipur had successfully hosted National Youth Festival in January 2011 which was a complete block buster.

We hope this inter-university youth festival is also going to be grand successful.
