Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, recently received an A grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Despite this recognition, the university administration expresses dissatisfaction with the assessment. Professor Sunita Mishra, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, has taken the initiative to seek a reevaluation by filing an appeal with NAAC. The administration seeks a more thorough assessment of the university's performance and standards.

During the initial week of this month, a six-member committee from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) conducted an inspection at Sukhadia University, as disclosed by spokesperson Dr. Kunjan Acharya. Subsequent to the assessment, the university was granted an A grade, accompanied by 3.12 CGPA points. Nevertheless, the official certification is still pending.

On Sunday, November 26, 2023, Professor Sunita Mishra, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, took the initiative to file an online reevaluation appeal through NAAC's portal. The appeal emphasizes the university's belief that it deserves an A+ grade and urges a reconsideration of the assessment scores. The administration seeks a more favorable evaluation that aligns with their perception of the university's performance.
