-The temperature went slightly up on Sunday, which was quite negligible.

-Tourist spots wintessed gatherings despite the chill.

Mondays are generally full of surprises. Probably the relaxation of Sunday makes us feel that Mondays always bring something new and unexpected. The start of this week on 21st December 2020 is just a good example of this. This day is going to be quite short with a longer than usual night. The met department says that the day will be cut short by an hour and a half and the night would be extend to 13 and half hours.

Reports say that the minimum temperature went up on Sunday, but this rise was quite negligible as the cold waves and clouds were in their full swing and chilled the masses to a great extent. The spine chilling winter is now getting close to pushing the masses indoors, though tourists could be seen at the tourist spots where the commencement of boat rides attracted quite a large number of crowd.

Snowfall in the north had brought the minimum temperature to 3 degrees on Saturday but a jump was recorded on Sunday night but not felt. The winter season is now creating shivers and the old and aged are advised to stay indoors. Of course the cold waves forced the children as well to stay indoors.

The minimum temperature on Sunday was 4.2 degrees whereas the maximum was at 24 but the cold waves ruled and there was quite a negligible effect of the sun. The sunset on Sunday was so beautiful that it gave the look of the beauty of colours done by an artist in his painting. Cold waves are going to rule the weather as snowfall will continue in this season.
